ELE 203 CONDUCTORS BRAKERS RELAYS

ELE 303 TRANSFORMERES AND POLYPHASE
with Ron DeMarco
Covers reduction and solving for voltage, current or impedance in series and paralel circuits, differences between three-phase and one-phase distribution systems and layout of vector diagram of the voltages in a three-phase wye and delta circuit. Also included is calculation of kva, kw and kyar in three-phase system, law of cosines, construction and operation of meters, construction of three-phase motor and principles of a three-phase rotating magnetic field. step-down/step-up transformers, excitation current, efficiency, amp-turns, primary to secondary winding voltage and current ratios are covered

ELE 404 ADVANCED ELECRICAL APPLICATIONS
with Robert Raggi
Explains the functon & operation of basic electronc devices, including semiconductors, diodes, rectifiers andtransistors. Covers fire alarm control units, Digital Alarm Communicator Systems(DACS),installation wiring for alarminitiating & notification devices, alarm system maintenance, various types of transformers and their applications, information on selecting, sizing and installing these devices and a basic overview of HVAC system controls. Stresses electrical trouble-shooting and NEC requirements. Cover various heat tracing system along with their applications & installation requirements

TEAS Test Listing
with Kathleen Bradley
Passing the Pre-Entrance Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), with a score of 44% or greater, is required for all individuals who plan to apply to the EASTERN Practical Nursing Program.
TEAS Testing is done remotely from your home with your personal computer or laptop with camera. No goverment or school computers allowed.
Click on Links below for instructions on taking the TEAS Test remotely:
- Test fee is non-refundable
- Picture ID required
- Email address required
- Sign on 30 minutes prior to test. Test starts promptly at designated time.
- Late arrivals will not be able to test. Applicants will need to reschedule and pay an additional fee.
- You must create an account through ATI Testing before your test date. Instructions will be included with your confirmation of your TEAS Test Registration.
- If this is not your first time taking the TEAS, you do not need to create another account. You will need your ATI username and password before you sign on.
- You must complete your Dry Run at least 1 day prior to testing and forward to: kbradley@eastech.org
- Instructions are needed for testing, print the information sent to you! On the day of testing, you must have your Assessment Number that is included in the instructions.
