This 36-hour course covers practical applications of lighting to include specific types of incandescent, flourscent, and HUD lamps, as well as ballasts, troubleshooting and distinct types of lighting controls, various lighting installations, applications and wiring systems. Reviews commerical electrical services. Explains applications and operating principles of solid-state controls, reduced-voltage starters, and adjustable frequency drives. Explores voice data and video technology. Also covers single and multi-motor calculations to enable the trainee to size conductors, over current protection and overload protection for motor applications
