In this 36-hour course, you will explore motor operations and maintenance, medium-voltage terminations and splices, and special location applications.  This will include concepts covering operating characteristics of AC and DC generators, synchronous impedance and reactance in AC generators, voltage regulation in AC and DC generators, basic motor action, and direction of rotation of an armature. Also included is torque angle, pullout torque, normal field excitations in synchronous motor, capacitor-start, induction run operation or single-phase motors and shaded pole motors.
